As this campaign comes to a close, I’m asking for your vote. I’m running to put residents first and bring real fiscal responsibility to City Hall, because every taxpayer dollar deserves careful scrutiny and accountability.
I would not approve $724,350 for a Tedesco Park restroom or $894,000 for the Eagles Sports Park restroom and concession stand. Our community deserves quality public facilities at reasonable prices, with every expense carefully justified.
I would also oppose the proposed bond that would borrow money to finance the $4 million purchase and renovation of a shared Animal Control and Public Works facility. I do not believe taking on new debt for this project is a responsible choice. We must meet essential needs responsibly, compare alternatives, and demand better value for our residents.
The city’s 2025 salary schedule lists $242,000 annually for the City Manager. Salaries this high should deliver responsive service, timely answers, and visible results. I will demand accountability for every dollar residents pay.
My priorities are to repair our roads, support youth sports, and identify and address recurring neighborhood problems. Let’s make City Hall work for you. Vote Edward Boumendil for City Council, District 1. Your voice matters.
